The prelude is telling in short the cascade years, from the red days of the 2030s, the grey days of the 2040s to the dark days of the 2050s.
In the 2050's, a wide energy crisis is turning off the cities all over the world, mostly in east Asia. Then the world starts to shrink and great nations fall.
