If you are unhappy with the default Blender camera, here is a rigged one.
You can easily spot it on a scene, aim it and animate it (aim, pan, dolly, truck).
Update: Added a Geometry node to calculate and show focus, near and far distance values to camera, useful to set up a Mist pass.
Content:
A Blender file with a rigged camera:
A hierarchy with two parents (Global and Local) for animation constrains and a (aim\look at) constraint to orient it.
NEAR, FOCUS and FAR empties are here as well as helper objects, constrained to the AIM object.
A geometry node object (Geon_Show_Distances), child of the camera.
Plus a few camera visiblity options activated: safe areas, third ratios for composition.
Version: Blender 3.2.2
