Title: Grey days of the 2040s or Evergrande’s legacy

A concept art for my personal project: The Shared World.

In the 2040's, the degradation of soils and ecosystems worsened. The cascade of consequences seems unstoppable. As giant wildfires have ravaged the vast wooded areas of North America and Eurasia, the ash suspended in the air has reduced light levels for several years.

In this context, the desertification of northern China has resumed with a vengeance.

This is a test picture for a Blender procedural building setup rather than a real illustration.

Buildings are a blend of procedural and instance meshes driven by home made geometry nodes groups, as a proof of concept for a larger procedural architecture project I am working on.
