The Shared World: Ereme pilgrim

A concept picture for my personal project: The Shared World

A pilgrim is walking his path, somewhere during the late 2090s. By the Shared World Chart of 2079, tourism has been forbidden and replaced by the pilgrimage.Three times in his life, once at each age (youth, adulthood, old age), a man has the right to travel anywhere, including in places that are otherwise forbidden: the vast wilderness lands of the Ereme.

Apocalypse is far too dramatised in our common understanding of it. Post-apocalypse is seen only as a brutal struggle for survival in the ruins of the “one true civilisation”. I think these ideas are going round in circles for too long. Whether in science fiction or real life, let's live in the ruins of that outdated future!
